When Valerie was here for a visit, we thought it might be fun for each family to bring a game to play at the reunion. We would need to let everyone know what game we want to bring so that we can have lots of choices.
I think we need a pinato or two or 3 maybe for different age groups. I'm more than willing to buy 'em and stuff 'em. I liked that candy game from last time and Squirrel Nut zippers are definitely a kind of candy.
We need more of the cousins to get on here and stir the pot - Carter cousins where are you. I challenge each of you to post something on here each week to get the enthusiasm rolling.
I love Apples to Apples. Phil will even play that game. I have an outside game that my dad made for us. I have no clue what it is called. Its made out of PVC pipe and there are three levels that you throw a rope with a golf ball on each end to try to wrap it around one of the bars. Each level is a different point value. I am probably not making any sense but we can bring that. Its fun for the adults as well as the kids.
Sorry, I know this isn't like your regular blog but I don't have your email address. I just wanted to say thanks for your comments on the Advent Calendar. If you like, I can email you the whole list of suggested activites.
The Durango area's world-class attractions include: Mesa Verde National Park, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Historic Downtown, and Vallecito Lake. Enjoy skiing at Durango Mountain Resort, fly fishing, rafting the Animas River, and mountain biking. Durango has something for absolutely everyone.
Please plan to join the Lynn and Loretta Carter clan in Colorado, June 20th through June 25th, 2009.

Ok, I'll start the list. I'll bring 'Apples to Apples'. I've played it camping with friends, and it works well, even with 15 or so people..
